Celebrating the Winners of the Taras Shevchenko Literary Contest
Despite all the challenges of wartime, the regional stage of the XV International Literary Contest named after Taras Shevchenko was successfully held in person, and 64 of the best connoisseurs of the genius bard's creative legacy have been selected.
A special thanks to the educational institutions that prepared the most prize winners:
- Chornomorsky Academic Lyceum named after T. Shevchenko
- Baltic Lyceum No. 1 named after O. Honchar
- Base Educational Institution-Lyceum No. 3 of the Berezivka City Council
- Educational Institutions of Odesa
We also take pride in the winners from Odesa region: Avangardivka, Nerubaiske, Novoborysivka, Velykomykhailivka, Usatove, Artzyz, Velykodalnytsia, Plakhtiivka, Borodino, as well as the cities of Izmail and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.
Participants were not only schoolchildren. High results were shown by students of vocational, specialized secondary, and higher educational institutions, including:
- Vocational Educational Institution "Odesa Professional Construction and Architecture Lyceum"
- Vocational College of Computer Technologies ODEKU
- Odesa College of Arts named after K.F. Danykevych
A total of 188 participants took part in the contest, but only 64 of them were awarded the title of winners.
