New School Year Begins in Odesa
The new school year has commenced in Odesa's educational institutions, starting on September 2, coinciding with the city's celebration day.
The primary goal of a modern teacher is to foster a comfortable environment, be present, support children during difficult times, provide a sense of safety and confidence, and lay the groundwork for quality education.
The first lesson titled «Vincit qui meminit (He who remembers conquers)» was dedicated to honoring the memory of the defenders of Ukraine who lost their lives in the struggle for independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of our state.
“May the nights be calm and the dawns joyful… may everyone who longs for Odesa finally return home. May the Lord protect every child, every family, and every Defender. May He strengthen our warriors in their sacred cause, and may we always pay due respect to those who make it possible for us to greet the day here, in our Odesa. To learn. To live. To dream. To succeed. This comes at the highest cost. Thousands of lives. Thousands of voices, smiles, and eyes that we must remember. We are starting. And this is already a great happiness,” – emphasized the Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa City Council, Olena Buynievych.
