Emergency Rescue at the Beach: A Life Saved

At the 16th station of the Great Fountain, medical personnel rushed to assist a 14-year-old girl who had lost consciousness after drowning. The road was blocked by parked cars, hindering the arrival of help. This was reported by the Emergency Medical Assistance and Disaster Medicine Center of Odessa region.

Fortunately, another medic was present at the beach and started performing CPR while the ambulance team navigated through the traffic.

After stabilizing the girl's condition, it was urgent to transport her to the intensive care unit, but once again, the road was obstructed on the way back.

The Emergency Medical Center of Odessa region emphasizes that such incidents are not exceptions but rather a systemic issue. Medical professionals urge drivers not to block access, especially near beaches and popular recreational areas.

“Please remember the importance of emergency medical services and imagine for a moment that your loved ones could be in that ambulance: a husband, wife, child,” emphasized emergency doctor Yelizaveta Churilova.
