Odessa's Municipal Services Respond to Recent Storm

Approximately 1500 municipal workers are currently operating in the streets of Odessa, addressing the aftermath of the storm that occurred on September 4-5.

As of the morning of September 6, 40 trees and large branches have been reported down in the city. Further updates are forthcoming.

The greenkeepers from the municipal enterprises "Miskzelentrest" and "Housing and Communal Services" are systematically cutting and removing fallen trees and branches, prioritizing areas where they obstruct traffic or access to critical social facilities.

Experts from the municipal enterprise "City Roads" are engaged in cleaning the grates of storm drains, drainage wells, and collectors. They are manually and using special equipment washing and removing sand and dirt washed onto the streets by rainwater.

Additionally, due to the storm, there have been reports of street lighting outages at 30 locations. Specialists from the municipal enterprise "Odessmisksvitlo" are working to restore these networks.

Moreover, municipal workers continue planned activities for cleaning designated areas, collecting and transporting fallen leaves and litter.
