Preserving Bus Stops: A Call for Responsibility

Employees of the Municipal Enterprise "City Roads" are constantly engaged in the maintenance of bus stops. They face daily acts of vandalism, from damaged benches to shattered glass. Unfortunately, these stops also suffer due to traffic accidents.

Since the start of 2024, vandals have broken glass on 33 bus stops, damaged 33 benches, 85 bins, and 15 roofs. Additionally, the staff is tasked with cleaning graffiti and posters left on the walls of stops.

In total, "City Roads" manages 1,012 public transport stops.

As part of their maintenance duties, the specialists regularly conduct sanitary cleaning, repair, and restoration of benches, bins, and pavilions, along with washing and painting them.

The Odessa City Council once again urges residents and guests to treat municipal property with care. Intentional damage to public property carries criminal liability.
