Call for Entries: Chornovil Award for Journalism
Each year, a competition is held in Ukraine to honor authors of original publicistic works that enhance the national consciousness and historical memory of the people.
The State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine announces the acceptance of publicistic works for the Chornovil Award, which recognizes excellence in journalism.
Works published within the last three years can be nominated for the award, whether they are by individual authors or teams of up to five members, provided they were published no later than six months before the nomination announcement.
To participate, applications must be submitted by August 10, 2025, including a brief description of the work and its author, a copy of the work (electronic version or link to the publication), confirmation of publication in media, and a copy of the passport (for teams — copies of all members’ passports).
Documents should be sent to: 01 001, Kyiv, Pryrizna St., 2, State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, with a note “For the Chornovil Award for Best Publicistic Work in Journalism.”
To facilitate the processing of submissions and the remote review of entries by committee members, applications in Word format and signed in PDF, as well as electronic versions of the works, should be sent to irina@comin.gov.ua.
