Snakes in Sauvignon: A New Challenge for the Zoo Director
Igor Belyakov, the director of the Odessa Zoo, received another call about a snake spotted in a residential yard. This time, the incident occurred in Sauvignon.
He shared this news on his Facebook page.
«Residents of Sauvignon called me. There’s a snake in the yard again. It's a yellow-bellied racer, listed in the Red Book of Ukraine, non-venomous, and quite beautiful,» he wrote.
Igor also reminded everyone of his contact number – 068 140 45 39, where people can reach out for help, especially regarding snake issues.
It's worth mentioning that Igor Belyakov has previously participated in «snake hunts,» helping both Odessa residents and those from surrounding villages deal with their fears of snakes.
