Heavy Vehicle Movement Restrictions in Odesa Region
The Odesa region has implemented restrictions on the movement of vehicles with a weight exceeding 24 tons and axle loads over 7 tons.
This measure has been introduced due to rising air temperatures.
According to the Odesa patrol police press service, «to preserve the road surface, trucks are prohibited from moving when the temperature exceeds +28 degrees Celsius».
Drivers affected by this restriction can wait in designated parking areas or near roadside service facilities. The movement restrictions do not apply to vehicles involved in emergency response, transporting perishable goods, live cargo, hazardous materials, military supplies, and other items used for defense purposes.
