Enhancement of the
The enhancement of the international border crossing «Reni – Giurgiulești» has commenced.
The public procurement procedure for the project «Capital repair of the M-15 highway Odesa – Reni (to Bucharest). Establishment of a parking area for vehicles and rest stop for road users at km 307+070 (left), Odesa region» has been successfully completed.
As a result of the tender in the Prozorro system, the contractor has been determined — LLC «ROSTDORSTROY», with whom a contract was signed on 23.07.2025 for the execution of works No. 3K/25. The cost of the works amounts to 179,460.00 thousand UAH excluding VAT. The deadline for completion is set for 31.12.2025.
The implementation of this project will create a modern and safe area for temporary vehicle parking, waiting for processing and resting for road users near the «Reni – Giurgiulești» border crossing. This will help reduce the load on the crossing, improve logistics, enhance convenience for citizens and drivers, as well as overall improve the quality of border infrastructure. The facility is designed for:
- 46 spaces for freight vehicles;
- 13 spaces for passenger cars, including 2 spots for individuals with disabilities.
This project is part of the European initiative «Solidarity Paths», which facilitates the integration of Ukraine's transport routes into the European network, providing new opportunities for exports and bilateral trade with the European Union. The project is funded by a grant provided under the EU program «Connecting Europe Facility» (#CEF), covering 50% of costs, with the remaining 50% financed from the state budget.
