Enhancing Inclusivity in Odesa
The city of Odesa is making significant strides towards establishing a barrier-free environment and expanding inclusive opportunities.
Plans are in place to improve the municipal beach «Otrada» for the rehabilitation of veterans, children with disabilities, and other mobility-challenged groups.
Additionally, a facility for the development of adaptive rowing sports will be established at the beach.
On August 27, during a special session of the Odesa City Council, deputies approved important amendments to the «Barrier-Free Odesa» program, increasing its funding by 1 million hryvnias.
The total program budget for 2025 will amount to 189.5 million hryvnias.
