Ukrposhta Launches Beta Version of Mobile App with New Features
On September 15, 2025, JSC «Ukrposhta» will initiate beta testing of its new mobile application, which includes the most in-demand features.
This was announced by the CEO of the company, Igor Smilyansky, via Telegram.
«We are planning to launch the app in three phases, similar to many companies worldwide. From today, the beta version with the most anticipated features is available. We invite you to download it, test it, and provide feedback through a special form», he stated.
The new app already includes push notifications for parcel arrivals, changes in delivery status, reminders for pickups, new promotions, and more. Additionally, all shipments linked to a specific phone number will be displayed automatically.
Furthermore, a detailed tracking feature has been implemented, allowing users to monitor all information regarding a parcel: route, sender, recipient, rate, status, payment details, and barcode for scanning at the post office. A universal search function for shipments and an interactive map of branches—with addresses, working hours—are also available, along with online payment (currently only for the shipment creation stage in the beta version).
«And there’s one more unique feature that no one else has. When creating a shipment, you can choose based on price and delivery times: a more expensive option for next-day delivery (the «Priority» rate) if you’re in a hurry, or a 2-4 day delivery option (the «Basic» rate),» Smilyansky added.
In the second phase, the head of Ukrposhta promises to introduce a package management feature (redirecting, changing the recipient) and a payment option for recipients. After this phase is launched, the operator plans to eliminate all paper applications at branches. Everything will be available online or through a call center.
In the third phase, the functionality will be expanded: users will be able to accept payments and order goods, stamps, medicines, and more through the app.
Smilyansky noted that the app is a proprietary development of JSC «Ukrposhta» without involving third-party companies.
