Volunteering in Odesa: Humanitarian Support During Crisis

Today, on International Volunteer Day, the city of Odesa expresses heartfelt gratitude to the teams from charitable and civic organizations who are working alongside municipal services to address the aftermath of hostile attacks. This was reported by the press service of the Odesa City Council.

Volunteers are among the first to respond, offering support to those in need and warming their hearts with kindness:

  • NGO "April Tenth" supported by UNHCR;
  • NGO "Winds of Change";
  • World Central Kitchen (WCK);
  • Hromada Hub;
  • Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS);
  • NGO "Life Food Odesa";
  • Charity Fund "Reach for the Sky";
  • Nova Ukraine;
  • Association "Council of Cities";
  • International Rescue Committee (IRC);
  • Dobrobat (Ukrainian Volunteer Construction Battalion);
  • UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA);
  • Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) in partnership with Howard G. Buffett Foundation;
  • NGO "Morning of Revival";
  • Caritas Ukraine;
  • NGO "Your City".

A special thanks goes to the head of the charity fund "Reach for the Sky", advisor to the acting mayor of Odesa Veronika Etnarovich, who coordinates the interaction between NGOs and the city authorities. This type of teamwork proves to be effective and allows us to reach out to everyone in need of assistance.
