Emerging Trends in Ukraine's Electric Vehicle Market
In the first quarter of 2025, Ukraine's vehicle fleet saw an increase of 12.8 thousand electric cars (BEVs).
This was reported by the Ukrainian Automotive Industry Association.
The highest registration figures for these vehicles were recorded in:
- Lviv region – 1961 units (94% used vehicles);
- Kyiv city – 1632 units (68% used vehicles);
- Kyiv region – 1120 units (76% used vehicles);
- Dnipropetrovsk region – 986 units (80% used vehicles);
- Odesa region – 761 units (76% used vehicles).
As for new cars, the most popular electric vehicle in these markets became the BYD Song Plus EV.
Regarding imported used cars:
- TESLA Model Y – in Kyiv and surrounding areas.
- TESLA Model 3 – in Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
- NISSAN Leaf – in Odesa region.
Reminder:
- In January-March, Ukrainians purchased 12 thousand imported used passenger cars aged up to 5 years.
