Increase in Job Opportunities for People with Disabilities in Ukraine
In Ukraine, the share of job vacancies suitable for individuals with disabilities has increased from 7% to 12% over the past two years.
This information is highlighted in a study conducted by Work.ua.
The number of job offers suitable for people with disabilities rose from 4,315 in January 2023 to 12,092 in March 2025.
Among the common positions for people with disabilities are: sales consultant, sales manager, driver, customer service manager, cashier, accountant, cleaner, loader, contact center operator, pharmacist, laborer, cook, and security guard.
Work.ua analyzed which job positions have the highest proportion of offers for individuals with disabilities:
bank branch specialist (57% of all vacancies for this position are suitable for people with disabilities);
- operations cashier (56%);
- solderer (40%);
- German language teacher (36%);
- Polish language teacher (34%);
- international driver (33%);
- financial consultant (32%).
Moreover, Work.ua assessed which sectors have the highest share of job vacancies marked “For People with Disabilities”:
- Non-profit, charitable, and community organizations — 26%;
- Finance, banking, insurance — 26%;
- Media — 25%;
- Security — 25%;
- Manufacturing — 19%.
