Unity Celebration: A Patriotic Event in Odesa
In celebration of Unity Day of Ukraine, the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa City Council held an event that united high school students and representatives of the KU «Service Office «Veteran HUB».
The meeting was themed around unity, aimed at strengthening national awareness among the city’s youth.
Participants formed a «circle of unity» and jointly sang the National Anthem of Ukraine, emphasizing the inviolability of borders and the spirit of the nation.
During the activity «Common Map of Ukraine,» youth and veterans visualized the integrity of the regions of the state.
In the panel discussion «What Unites Us?» participants discussed issues of civic responsibility and the role of each citizen in strengthening statehood.
A key part of the event was an open dialogue between the veteran community and the city’s student youth, allowing for experience exchange, discussion of common values, and the formation of patriotic orientations.
At the end of the meeting, representatives of the Student Parliament presented symbolic tokens to the participants as a sign of unity and mutual support.
Unity is not just a shared territory, but also a shared responsibility for Ukraine's future.
