Day of Mourning in Odesa
Following a tragic event that occurred on the night of January 27, 2026, when Odesa was subjected to a massive drone attack, January 28, 2026, has been declared a day of mourning. This incident resulted in the loss of lives.
The State Flag of Ukraine and the flag of the city of Odesa will be flown at half-mast adorned with mourning ribbons on all public buildings.
Businesses, institutions, and organizations in the city, regardless of ownership, are advised to limit the use of music and refrain from hosting entertainment events on this day.
