Sailing Competition in Odesa: Celebrating Young Talent
On August 23-24, 2025, a sailing competition was held in Odesa organized by Comprehensive Children's and Youth School No. 13, in celebration of Ukraine's Independence Day.
The event featured races in two classes: ILCA-4 and «Optimist». In the «Optimist» class, 23 young athletes made their debut.
Winners of the competition:
- ILCA-4 class - Yan Batsansky;
- «Optimist» debut (junior) – Lev Nikolenko and Tetiana Shvets;
- «Optimist» debut (senior) – Matviy Parchenko and Natalia Shvets;
- «Optimist» - Hryhoriy Filinyuk.
The winners were awarded trophies, medals, and valuable prizes generously provided by sponsors.
