Gas Explosion in Kiliya: Consequences and Safety Measures
On December 7, 2025, a gas explosion occurred in Kiliya on Victory Street. The blast caused a fire in the apartment and partial destruction of interior walls and partitions adjoining neighboring units.
Firefighters responded rapidly and managed to extinguish the fire, rescuing two victims: a man and a woman, who were handed over to medical personnel.
The likely cause is the violation of fire safety regulations in the use of gas appliances.
Three units of equipment and seven rescuers from the emergency services were involved.
