Children and Teen Festival in Odesa

On December 6th, during the celebration of St. Nicholas Day, a children and teen festival named «Khalabuda Fest» took place in Odesa.

The festival united around 400 children, including those from military families, veterans, families of fallen and missing defenders of Ukraine, as well as children from civilian families.

The main goal of this creative event was to create a safe space for communication, play, music, creativity, and self-expression, where every child, regardless of their circumstances, can feel support, acceptance, and the opportunity to realize themselves. A space where friendship, creativity, and joy become part of life again, allowing children to interact freely, support each other, and grow together.

During the festival, interactive workshops, creative games, art zones, discussion spaces for teamwork, workshops, as well as musical and theatrical performances for teens were organized.

As stated by Odesa's Deputy Mayor, Kostiantyn Talalaiev, such events serve not only as cultural happenings but also as essential steps toward integration and psychological support for the younger generation.

The «Khalabuda Fest» was organized by the Charitable Foundation «Cultural Forces of Ukraine» with the support of the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa City Council.
