Mobile Safety Class for Students at Odessa Lyceum
As part of a collaborative initiative between the National Police of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service, supported by UNICEF, students from grades 4-5 at Odessa Lyceum No. 71 participated in a mobile safety class.
The main topics covered included fire safety and the dangers of explosive devices. During the session, experts from the State Emergency Service educated the children on the importance of adhering to safety guidelines in hazardous situations.
Students learned how to prevent fires and what actions to take if a fire occurs. They were introduced to various types of explosive devices, how to recognize them, and the appropriate steps to take if they encounter a suspicious or explosive object.
The event was held in an interactive format, allowing students not only to listen to specialists but also to engage in practical exercises, examine visual aids, and ask questions.
Such educational initiatives foster a culture of safety among children and help them respond appropriately in critical situations.
