Monobank Launches Used Goods Marketplace: monoбазар

Monobank has introduced a new service for trading used goods called monoбазар. Starting from December 8, it is available in beta mode for all bank customers. This was announced by co-founder Oleg Gorokhovsky via Telegram.
"We are launching monoбазар. Now, on our monoмаркет, customers can sell their unwanted (or needed) items. It’s like a basic version of OLX (for now)", he wrote.
The service allows for purchasing items in installments, with all sellers verified through Monobank, significantly reducing the risk of fraud, Gorokhovsky stated.
He also shared some features of the service. For instance, artificial intelligence saves customers' time by automatically filling out product descriptions. You just need to provide a few keywords like "iPhone, 80% battery, scratched screen".
"Furthermore, we believe that most purchase negotiations involve haggling, which is time-consuming. So, we automated the negotiation process – you can propose a price, and the seller will see it and decide whether to accept it. No lengthy conversations!", the post reads.
"Additionally, sellers will only receive payment once you pick up the item from the post office. If you check it and decide it’s not for you, the money will automatically return to you, and the package will be sent back to the sender," Gorokhovsky explained.
According to him, the commission for any sale is 0.1% until January 8, after which it will be 1.9%, and during purchases, you only need to pay for delivery.
