New Train Service to Odesa in August
Ukrzaliznytsia has announced the introduction of a new train route to Odesa this August, with an additional train No. 265/266 Kyiv-Odesa. The train will operate from August 20 to 31, excluding weekends, offering passengers the chance to travel between the capital and the seaside resort.
According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the train will depart from Kyiv on August 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31 at 8:40 AM, arriving in Odesa at 6:08 PM. The travel time will be 9 hours and 28 minutes, which is standard for this route.
From Odesa, the train will leave on the same days at 11:27 AM and reach Kyiv at 8:20 PM, allowing passengers to plan their trips conveniently on both weekends and weekdays.

The train will feature compartment cars with seating, ensuring a comfortable travel experience. This format is ideal for passengers who prefer daytime journeys and do not require sleeping accommodations.
Tickets can be purchased via the Ukrzaliznytsia app, on the official website, or at train station ticket offices. It is recommended to book tickets in advance, as demand for travel to Odesa is traditionally high during the summer months.
